This 2-day Events Planning and Management course is designed to help professionals gain essential skills in organising events across commercials venues. From evaluating event efficiencies to managing technical skills to the next level. Whether you're scoping out things to do this weekend or aiming to run your own high-impact events, this course is your launchpad.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Assess event data to generate reports on staging features and technical requirements and apply them to improve operational efficiency and event planning in commercial venues

  • Coordinate event planning activities by applying venue arrangement styles, managing timelines and budgets and requirements, and ensuring compliance with relevant event regulations.

Course Content

1. Event Performance Analysis

  • Understand event types like concerts, exhibitions, and corporate launches

  • Learn staging essentials and evaluate venue setups

  • Collect and analyse event data to generate meaningful reports


2. Coordinating Event Planning Activities 

  • Plan and manage budgets, timelines, and team coordination

  • Select venue arrangement styles (e.g, theatre, banquet, hybrid)

  • Ensure compliance with event regulations and safety standards

Instructional methods include interactive lectures, group discussions, case studies, video-based learning, and presentations to simulate real-world planning situations
